We believe that there are certain foundational truths upon which we base our salvation and our hope of an eternity with the Lord.
We believe all men have sinned (Romans 3:23), God sent His Son to take our punishment so we could go free (2 Corinthians 5:21), Jesus is the only way to God, the Father (John 14:6), and all that accept God’s Son, Jesus, will live forever with God (John 3:16).
We also believe that God launched a mighty army called the church, as recounted in the book of Acts, chapters 1 and 2; and that not only are the same gifts and power are available to us today, and but the same mandate applies, as well (“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
Finally, we believe that God’s Holy Spirit is the true teacher, and will lead anyone who is truly seeking into God’s will. In fact, in John 14:26, Jesus told His disciples, “ the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
